New ATOD Books

New Books on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs

Looking for books on recovery, a college textbook, scholarly reference, or clinical guide on an addiction topic?  SALIS collects the most comprehensive list of new books and monographs in the alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD) field. The New Book lists, compiled by Andrea Mitchell, are printed in SALIS News (1997-2020) and the journal Addiction . The lists are organized in alphabetical order by the author’s last name. The current new book list can be found in the Members Only section. A cumulative list in PDF from May 2012 to February 2021 can be viewed HERE.
