The 35th Annual SALIS Conference was held on April 30-May 3, 2013 at the Berkeley City Club, an historic landmark in Berkeley, California. SALIS previously met at this location for our 26th conference in 2004.
Highlights included speakers from Google and Facebook and a trip to the Internet Archive in San Francisco, with a tour of their book-scanning project personally directed by founder Brewster Kahle.
The conference was hosted by Andrea Mitchell, Institute for Scientific Analysis; Julie Murphy, Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation; and Tom Colthurst, Silver Gate Group.
