Ground Transportation
Traveling to the Capital Skyline Hotel from Reagan National Airport (DCA) by DC’s Metro system:
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Metro’s Navy Yard- Ballpark Station. The Metro provides service directly to or from the airport until 11 PM daily. The fare is $2.60 per trip and takes about 45 minutes.
Purchase tickets from automated ticket machines in the airport as well as on the Metro station platform.
After getting off at the Metro’s Navy Yard- Ballpark Station, walk on M St. towards Frist St. SE. Turn right on Half St SE. Turn left on L St. SE. Turn right on S. Capitol St. SE. Then turn left on I St. SE.
Other Metro Public Transit Information:
The Metro Green, Blue, Orange, Yellow and Silver Lines all stop within a 20-minute walk to the hotel. All lines depart almost every 10-minutes, with late night service departing every 20-miniutes. Multiple stops downtown provide convenient access to local attractions. The Yellow and Green Lines connect at L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station.
