SALIS Special Interest Groups: Canadian SIG

History & Purpose:

The Canadian SIG represents Canadian libraries and information / knowledge services within SALIS.  It works to increase networking opportunities and SALIS membership within Canada by utilizing and expanding upon the existing Canadian Substance Abuse Information Network (CSAIN).  It serves to:

• Provide a Canadian perspective
• Share Canadian resources and news with the SALIS membership, and
• Arrange for a Canadian member to host the annual SALIS conference periodically.
  

Communication: The committee communicates by email and phone.
