Sessions for the 2012 SALIS Conference will be held on the University of Nevada at Reno campus. Attendees will stay at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino, a landmark in downtown Reno. The hotel offers amenities for those seeking a spa experience as well as for the business traveler, including unlimited local and toll free 800 calls, in-room wireless internet, admission to the health spa and airline boarding pass printing at the Bell Desk or Concierge Desk.  And of course, gaming and entertainment are readily available in the casino!

Conference Hotel Rates: Rates quoted are for single/double occupancy. Each additional person is $10 per room per night, plus tax. All rates are subject to per room, per night City of Reno mandate Facility Fee of $2. All rates are subject to 13.5% tax and $6 per room resort fee. All taxes and government fees are subject to change.

Airport transportation & parking: Attendees will fly into the Reno-Tahoe International airport. The hotel provides guests with round-trip airport shuttle service 19 hours per day; the shuttle departs from the hotel at the top and bottom of the hour from 5am until 11pm.  The hotel provides both covered valet and covered self parking for those who bring a car.

Hotel - UNR free ground transportation:
To get between the hotel and conference sessions on the UNR campus, a free shuttle runs between the Silver Legacy and UNR from 7:00am-7:00pm, arriving every 15 minutes.
